FAQs - About Our Products
All of Trespa's solutions are finished with proprietary Electron Beam Curing, which locks colour in and contaminants out. There is no need to paint Trespa solutions.
Trespa® is a high-pressure compact panel (HPL), based on thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with wood-based fibres and manufactured under high pressure and at high temperatures. The panels have an integrated decorative surface using proprietary EBC technology, except Trespa® TopLabBASE® which has a hard surface based on melamine resins.
Trespa products are engineered to last. Our solutions have proven to be so durable that part of our sustainabilty plan is finding another use for the panels when the façade is finally redone.
Yes, Trespa® Meteon® panels can be made in a wide range of special project colours. However, this is only available for projects with a minimum of 200 m2 per item number. For general information about special project colours, please contact us.

Pura® NFC by Trespa is a premium façade solution that's designed to be durable, low maintenance and easily installed.
The complete solution includes installation clips, colour-matched profiles and fasteners. The tailored collection comes with everything needed to create an evenly hued façade.
You can clean Pura® NFC simply and easily, just by using water and soap.

Pura® NFC siding is made from up to 70% natural fibres. All Pura® NFC products are certified according to the PEFC™ standard.
Each one is 3050 mm x 186 mm x 8 mm.

Markings can be easily wiped away if they are water-soluble. Otherwise, use organic solvents or special graffiti cleaners. Avoid streaking by washing and drying the siding afterwards.

For a 600 mm on-centre installation, 12 - 15 fixing items (clip + screw) per square meter would be estimated. However, actual fastening spacings should be determined in accordance with local regulations & requirements, as well as the applicable engineering requirements for each particular building.

FAQs - Trespa® Toplab®
TopLab®PLUS and TopLab®VERTICAL have high chemical resistance. The resistance of TopLab®PLUS to aggressive chemicals is based on 24 hours SEFA 3 test method
TopLab®PLUS and TopLab®VERTICAL do not support bacterial growth.
Our TopLab® line is sealed with our in-house Electron Beam Curing (EBC) process, which makes them incredibly durable. This allows Trespa to offer a 10-year warranty, though the product life can be longer.

Cutting Trespa® panels is comparable to cutting high quality hardwood. Trespa® panels may be machined using carpentry tools, and the use of hard metal tools is advised.

FAQs - Sustainability
Trespa® panels contain up to 70% natural fibres, that originate from sustainable forests. Trespa has PEFC chain of custody certification. Trespa significantly contributes to carbon sequestration due to the woodfibre content, the high density and the longevity of the product.
Trespa believes in objective and fact-based analysis. The compay has performed a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) to map its environmental footprint along the entire value chain. In fact, Trespa was the first in the industry to produce an LCA in 1994. Based on the LCA profile, Trespa has set challenging but realistic environmental targets. Trespa has integrated all sustainability priorities into its rolling business planning and review cycle.
